1. Who is responsible for your data
Search Visionary Tech ("Search Visionary Tech", "we", "us") is the data controller (responsable) for personal data collected through searchvisionary.tech. We are a digital services company based in Los Cabos, Baja California Sur, México.
You can reach us about anything in this policy at hola@searchvisionary.tech, by phone or WhatsApp at +52 624 225 5644, or by writing to us in Los Cabos, Baja California Sur, México.
This policy is our privacy notice (aviso de privacidad) under Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares, LFPDPPP) and its regulations.
2. What data we collect
Data you give us directly
When you complete the contact form on this site, we collect what you type into it:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number (optional)
- Your business name and business type (optional)
- What you are trying to build or solve, and your timeline
- Which of our services you are interested in
If you contact us by email, phone, or WhatsApp instead, we receive whatever you choose to send in that message, including your phone number and WhatsApp profile name.
Data collected automatically
When the form is submitted, we also record technical context alongside it:
- Your browser's user agent string
- Which page the submission came from, and the referral source that brought you to the site
- The date and time of the submission
Separately, our analytics and advertising tools collect usage data about your visit — see section 4. We do not ask for and do not want sensitive personal data (datos personales sensibles), financial data, or official identification through this website. Please do not send it through the contact form.
3. Why we collect it
Primary purposes — necessary for the relationship you are asking us to start:
- To read your enquiry and reply to it
- To prepare a written quote or proposal for the work you described
- To provide the services you engage us for, and to invoice and support them
- To keep records of our commercial relationship, including for tax and accounting obligations
Secondary purposes — you can object to these at any time without affecting your enquiry:
- To measure how the website performs and improve it
- To measure the effectiveness of our advertising
- To send you occasional information about our services, if you asked to hear from us
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not rent or trade it to third parties for their own marketing.
4. Cookies and tracking technologies
This site uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are necessary for the site to work; the rest are for analytics and advertising measurement, which are the ones you may want to control.
| Tool | What it does | Set by |
|---|---|---|
| Google Tag Manager (container GTM-KJN84Z7K) |
Loads and manages the tags below. It does not itself store analytics data about you. | |
| Google Analytics 4 (property G-QK4XKFT6SX) |
Measures pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, how you arrived, and which links and forms you interact with. Used in aggregate to understand and improve the site. | |
| Google Ads (account AW-17453484782) |
Records when a visit from one of our ads results in a contact form submission, so we can measure which campaigns work. May be used for remarketing audiences. |
We also load fonts from Google Fonts, icons from the Iconify CDN, and stylesheet and script libraries from public CDNs. Loading these files necessarily discloses your IP address and browser information to those providers so they can serve the file.
How to control this
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. The site will still work.
- You can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites with Google's browser opt-out add-on.
- You can control personalised advertising in your Google Ad Settings.
- Most browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. There is still no agreed standard for honouring it, so we do not rely on it — please use the controls above instead.
How Google handles data collected through these tools is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
5. Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run our business, and only for that purpose. They process it on our instructions and are not permitted to use it for their own ends.
| Provider | What it handles |
|---|---|
| Netlify | Hosts this website and delivers its pages. Also processes contact form submissions and emails them to us. |
| Supabase | Hosts the database where your contact form submission is stored as a record in our system. |
| Analytics, advertising measurement, fonts, and our business email and calendar. | |
| WhatsApp / Meta | Carries WhatsApp conversations, if you choose to contact us that way. |
We may also disclose personal data where we are legally required to — for example in response to a valid order from a competent authority — or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim. Under Article 37 of the LFPDPPP, these disclosures do not require your consent.
6. International transfers
The providers listed above operate infrastructure outside Mexico, primarily in the United States. This means your personal data is transferred to and stored outside Mexico. By submitting the contact form you accept that this transfer is necessary for us to receive and answer your enquiry. We only use providers that commit contractually to protecting the data they process for us.
7. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become projects: up to 24 months from your last contact with us, so we can pick up the conversation if you come back. Then deleted.
- Client records: for the duration of the engagement and afterwards for as long as Mexican tax and commercial law requires us to retain them.
- Analytics data: retained by Google according to the retention period configured on the property, after which it is deleted or aggregated.
You can ask us to delete your data sooner — see below.
8. Your rights (ARCO)
Under the LFPDPPP you have the right to:
- Access — ask what personal data of yours we hold and what we do with it.
- Rectify — have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
- Cancel — have your data deleted when it is no longer needed for the purpose you gave it for.
- Object — object to us using your data for a particular purpose.
You may also withdraw your consent at any time, or limit its use or disclosure — for example by asking us to stop sending you information about our services.
How to exercise them
Email hola@searchvisionary.tech with the subject line "ARCO request", telling us which right you want to exercise and including enough detail to identify you and locate your data (the name and email address you contacted us with is usually enough). We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act.
We will respond within 20 business days of receiving a complete request, and give effect to it within 15 business days of that response, as the LFPDPPP requires. There is no charge, though we may recover justified shipping or reproduction costs if you ask for copies.
If you are not satisfied with how we handled your request, you can file a complaint with Mexico's data protection authority, the INAI (home.inai.org.mx).
9. Security
This site is served over HTTPS. Contact form submissions are transmitted encrypted and stored in a database with access restricted to the members of our team who need it. We use reputable infrastructure providers and limit internal access on a need-to-know basis.
No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a breach that materially affects your rights, we will notify you without delay so you can take steps to protect yourself, as the LFPDPPP requires.
10. Minors
Our services are sold to businesses, and this website is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Data we handle inside client projects
Much of our work involves building and operating systems for our clients — websites, databases, and AI agents that handle our clients' own customer data. When we do that, our client is the data controller and we act as their processor under a separate agreement. This policy does not govern that data.
If you are a customer of one of our clients and want to exercise rights over data held in a system we built, please contact that business directly. We will support them in responding, but we cannot act on their data without their instruction.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services, tools, or legal obligations change. The current version always lives at searchvisionary.tech/en/privacy, and the "last updated" date at the top tells you when it last changed. If a change materially affects how we use data you already gave us, we will make the update prominent rather than silent.
